Spring is here! Or at least it has come to Portland's surrounding areas with prices in growth mode. 

From May of last year to the present, price appreciation stalled in Portland proper, while prices in the surrounding areas increased. Gresham, Happy Valley, Lake Oswego, and Hillsboro were all up significantly, and Southwest led the way with an astonishing price increase of 19.8%.
